Christmas Cats
Seriously;No jokes how do I keep my 6 cats off my christmas tree this year.This is not a joke I need an answer?
I have 6 cats who I love them very much, but they be all over the place they are well taken care they are 6 girls and are my baby's but if they mess with the christmas tree this year I don't know what I would do. Cause three of them are bad they've been all over the place and have broken alot of my things and, sometimes I want to give them away. but they are my baby's ''PLEASE HELP''
There are a few options.
One is that before you decorate the tree, leave it up long enough for the cats to investigate it. Once they're tired of it, then you can put the ornaments up. However, keep the breakable ones off the bottom branches.
You might also try and find cat repellant sprays in your local store or on the internet or make your own. For instance, cats hate citrus.

The estimated population of pets in the U.S. has grown by over 25 million from 2001 to 2007. In the U.S. alone there are more than 72 million dogs and over 80 million cats. It is no surprise, then, that traveling with pets is a growing industry. While hotels and airlines are catching on to this growing trend, careful trip planning and preparation are essential for anyone wanting to travel with their furry friend.
According to Megan Hanson, a moderator for a popular internet travel forum, pet friendly hotels are in high demand. "This is one of the most commonly asked questions we get on the forum," she says. "It's mostly people traveling with their dogs. They are doing road trips during the summer, and want to travel with their pets. They're part of the family and want to spend vacation with their pets."
"Hotels are catching on," she adds. She is right. Best Western and La Quinta chains now offer many pet friendly hotels, as do many other chains. For a small extra fee, hotel guests can have their pet stay with them. Rooms dedicated for pets are usually in a dedicated section of the hotel that prevents other guests are not bothered by dander and pet noise. Some hotels even go one step further and offer pet recreation areas and sell food and other pet convenience items.
Airlines are also becoming more pet-friendly as well. There have been major improvements in the handling of "baggage class" pet travelers once they leave the care of the owners. These include: climate-controlled areas, transport tags attached to the crate to indicate pet and owners information, and trained handlers. Some airlines now offer cabin class travel for pets, although this is usually restricted to small dogs and cats.
"This is a classic example of where supply had not kept up with demand," states Hanson. "Hotel rooms book up early and people are often left scrambling to make alternate arrangements. There clearly isn't enough pet-friendly rooms during the peak periods." Summer months are typically the busiest.
Those wishing to travel with their pets should follow these 3 tips:
Plan ahead. Space for pets at hotels and on flights often sells out quickly, especially during the peak periods of July, August, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Book directly with service provider. Rather than use a travel website or agent, speak to the hotel or airline directly. Explain your situation to ensure you understand the policies and that your pet is welcome.
Ask about size limits and breeds. Not all sizes and breeds of animals are welcome. There may also be size limits and other requirements pertaining to the crate (for air travel).
Traveling with your pet does not have to be frustrating and cumbersome, but it does require travelers to be prepared and informed. Following these tips will help you to avoid disappointment next time you travel with your pet.
